Demolition, Refurbishment & Maintenance

Alongside new-build projects, we carry out the expert demolition and sustainable refurbishment and maintenance of existing buildings, engineering structures and infrastructure assets. Our goal is to extend the service life of structures, bring existing facilities up to current technical, legal and safety requirements, and create economical solutions across the entire life cycle of a property or infrastructure asset.

Our range of services covers controlled partial and full demolition, strip-out work, selective deconstruction, and the expert separation, sorting and disposal of all building materials. A particular focus is on hazardous-material remediation, especially asbestos remediation, as part of modernisation, conversion and deconstruction work on buildings and technical facilities.

In asbestos remediation, we set up and seal off remediation areas, and expertly remove asbestos-containing building materials, flooring, wall and ceiling cladding, pipe insulation, fire protection materials and other hazardous components. This includes remediation work in stations, signal boxes, technical and operational buildings, and other properties and infrastructure assets, for example as part of Deutsche Bahn projects. All work is carried out in compliance with the Hazardous Substances Ordinance, TRGS 519, and all applicable occupational, environmental and safety regulations. We also handle the safe packaging, transport and proper disposal of asbestos-containing materials, as well as the final cleaning and clearance of remediation areas in accordance with statutory requirements.
